Young workers can be a vulnerable part of the workforce and deserve particular protection.

The aim of this module is to empower young people and to shape their attitudes towards work and their future. In particular, this module focuses on educating young people about the steps they need to take to apply for a job, and the key issues to be aware of when starting employment to ensure they are able to advocate for their rights.

This module presents students with information relevant to all types of employment and provide students with the skills to apply for and commence work with the relevant knowledge of legal standards that apply to them.

This module is appropriate for students aged between 14-18 years, based in NSW.
